## About this gift

African bloodstone tumble stones, also called sephtonite, are dark green stones with red markings, a bold pick for crystal lovers and birthday gifts for him. The red markings, from iron oxide, vary from stone to stone, in spots, stripes or flecks.

The medium, pack of 12 has stones measuring approximately 25 to 45 mm, so it is easy to carry or display. The small, pack of 24 gives you more pieces to share. Bloodstone is a variety of chalcedony, and in crystal lore it is known as a stone of courage and winners.

Bloodstone's markings make a striking gift for a friend who loves stones or a Father's Day present. Display a few on a desk or carry one in a pocket. Pick the medium, pack of 12, or the small, pack of 24, and give someone a stone of courage.
