## About this gift

Frankincense essential oil, 50 ml and diluted to 5% in grapeseed oil, is a gift for anyone who loves the story behind incense. It suits history fans, scent collectors and friends who love old traditions.

Boswellia carterii resin is steam distilled to make this oil, also known as Olibanum. The tree belongs to the Burseraceae family and is indigenous to the Middle East. The word comes from the French franc, meaning luxuriant.

Ancient Egyptians burned frankincense as holy incense. With myrrh, it was the first gum used as incense, and frankincense is said to symbolize divinity. Treat the incense fan in your life to 50 ml with a long past.
