## About this gift

Frankincense essential oil in a pure 10 ml size is a gift for anyone fascinated by ancient incense, steam distilled from the resin of the Boswellia carterii tree. Give it to a history lover or an essential oil fan.

Latin name Boswellia carterii, also known as Olibanum. The part of the plant used is the resin, and the extraction method is steam distillation. The tree belongs to the Burseraceae family and is indigenous to the Middle East. Frankincense is said to symbolize divinity.

Ancient Egyptians burned frankincense as holy incense, and with myrrh it was the first gum used as incense. The earliest record of its use is a tomb inscription of the 15th century BC Egyptian queen Hatshepsut. Choose pure frankincense essential oil and give them an old scent with a story.
