Yes, these candles and oil burners all suit a retiring colleague. Each gift is a simple way to say thank you, from a glass jar candle with a blue fish pattern to a ceramic burner with a cut-out mandala design. Together they cover scents, styles and different tastes.

Seabreeze Glass Jar Candle (from £7.99)

A colourful choice for a send-off. This Seabreeze candle has a blue fish pattern on clear glass, and its glow shines through the design. Pick small, medium or tall. The tall one burns for about 150 hours, so the gift lasts long after the party. It suits a colleague who loves the sea, or one who has just moved into a new home and wants to make it feel theirs.

Best for: Sea lovers and new homeowners.

Carrot Cake Candle (£9.49)

This one has a sweet story to tell. The glass candle has a rich, warm scent of freshly baked carrot cake that fills the room with the feel of a fresh bake. It comes in a colour cardboard box with cake and carrot illustrations. It suits a colleague who loves baking, or a friend who has just moved into a new home and wants something cosy. Its scent is the star of the show.

Best for: Bakers and cosy kitchen fans.

White Mandala Oil Burner (£8.49)

A pretty piece for the home, and it works as well as it looks. This white ceramic oil burner has a cut-out mandala design and a wood-effect ceramic base. A built-in dish holds fragrance oil or wax melts, and one standard tealight powers it. It suits a colleague moving into a new home, or a friend who likes a thoughtful, pretty piece for the house. Its cut-out pattern is the detail that makes it stand out.

Best for: New homeowners who love pretty things.

Matte Dragonfly Oil Burner (£8.49)

Practical and pretty, this matte ceramic oil burner has a dragonfly detail and a wood-effect base for a contemporary look. It works with fragrance oil and as a wax melt burner, so it's flexible. Check the size and depth of the bowl before you add wax, so it doesn't overrun when melted. It suits a colleague who loves the garden, or anyone who likes a modern touch. The contemporary matte finish is what makes it special.

Best for: Gardeners and modern home fans.

Butterflies Appear Oil Burner (£8.49)

A calm, pampering gift with a gentle message. This white ceramic oil burner has a soft grey butterfly design and the words 'Butterflies appear when loved ones are near'. It's 11 cm tall and comes in a colour cardboard box. Use fragrance oil diluted with water, never undiluted, and never leave a lit candle unattended. It suits a colleague who would appreciate a thoughtful, gentle message. The soft grey butterflies are the detail that makes it special.

Best for: Thoughtful gifts with a gentle message.

Pastel House Incense and Tealight Holder (£9.49)

Fun to give and useful every day, this house-shaped holder comes in subtle pastel hues. It's made from dolomite and works as a tealight holder, and it doubles as an incense cone burner, so you get two uses in one. It stands 12.5 cm tall and comes in a colour cardboard box. It suits a colleague who is starting a new chapter, or a friend who loves a sweet, homely touch. The house shape is the charming detail that makes it stand out.

Best for: New chapters and cosy corners.

Tea lovers and boho style fans will both find a gift here. Three teapot sets and a Java art scarf each bring colour and character, and each one is hand-picked for this guide.

Glazed Teapot and Cups Set (from £12.49)

Ideal for anyone who loves tea, this ceramic teapot comes with a choice of sets. Pick the blues with a 200 ml teapot and four 30 ml cups, or go for black glaze or jade with two larger 50 ml cups. The jade set has a gold-toned handle, which adds a touch of colour. It suits a colleague who is always brewing, or a friend starting a slower, sunnier chapter.

Best for: Tea lovers and new homeowners.

Temple Teapot Set with Three Cups (£27.99)

A charming pick for someone retiring, this ceramic temple teapot set comes with three cups. You can choose blue heaven or orange earth, so the colour can match the person receiving it. Each piece is ceramic, and the set is listed at 10.5 x 13.5 x 9 cm. It's a lovely gift for a tea lover at a leaving party, and it looks as good on the table as it does in the cupboard.

Best for: Tea lovers at a leaving party.

Panda Teapot Set with Three Cups (£29.99)

A small gift with a big smile, this ceramic panda teapot comes with three cups. Choose sky blue or orange for a playful piece that makes tea time feel a little lighter. It measures 9 x 11.5 x 12 cm. The box holds one teapot and three cups. It suits friends, tea lovers and panda fans, and it's a cheerful pick that's hard not to smile at.

Best for: Panda fans who love tea.

Boho Java Art Scarf (£19.99)

A stylish upgrade to an everyday thing, this boho Java art scarf is made from a linen and rayon mix. It measures 62 x 200 cm and can be worn as a scarf, shawl or head wrap. Glass Terrarium on a Tung Wood Base (from £6.99)

A reliable pick for someone retiring, this glass terrarium sits on a natural tung wood base. Choose mini, small, medium or large, so you can pick the size that suits them. The mini has a clear 360-degree view and can be used as a terrarium or a single-stem vase, while the medium has room for a more detailed arrangement. It makes a lovely miniature indoor garden.

Best for: Gardeners who love mini plants.

Hello Sunshine Sunflower Plant Pot (£9.49)

Bright, cheerful and easy to love, this ceramic plant pot has a 3D sunflower and the words Hello Sunshine. It stands 11 cm tall and works for favourite plants or flowers in any room or the garden. Nature-inspired decorations and keepsakes suit a retiring colleague best. These gifts share one idea: they bring a natural touch to a home and make a lasting reminder of a new chapter, whether it's a woodland decoration or a welcome mat for the door.

Lost in the Forest Wooden Decoration (from £6.49)

This hand-picked decoration is made from mango wood with green enamel, and it comes in five woodland designs, from a single pine to a resting stag. The layered design gives a real sense of depth. Pick the design that feels most like your colleague, and you have a small reminder of the outdoors for the start of their next chapter.

Best for: Nature lovers at home.

Tree Trunk Carving (from £6.99)

A gift that lasts long after the day. This Balinese carving is made from chinaberry and hibiscus trunk offcuts, in four designs. Choose an owl in a trunk, an owl family, an old man tree or a large green man face. It works indoors or out, in a garden, conservatory or on a patio, so it can go wherever your colleague will enjoy it most.

Best for: Gardeners with a garden or patio.

Hand Carved Gemstone Angel (£10.99)

Editorially selected for a retirement keepsake. This small gemstone angel measures just 5 x 1 cm, so it's easy to keep close. Pick from rose quartz, amethyst, opalite or green aventurine.
