About this gift

Mandala wall art for anyone with a big wall to fill: Mandala in the Clouds is a 106 cm x 93 cm batik on rayon. Give it for a birthday or a new home, as a gift for art lovers.

Wax makes the design. It is drawn in hot wax directly onto the fabric, then natural dyes build the artwork. The fabric is stretched and sun dried, the wax is washed out, and the final design comes alive in vivid, vibrant colours. It was created in Ubud, on the island of Bali.
