About this gift
Lemongrass essential oil is a bold gift for any essential oil fan: a 50 ml bottle of oil steam distilled from Cymbopogon citratus leaves. Pick it for a birthday, a housewarming or a friend who is building an oil collection.
Cymbopogon citratus is a perennial aromatic grass, also known as oil grass, Indian Verbena and Indian Melissa. Its fresh or partly dried leaves are steam distilled to make the oil. Lemongrass contains citral, the compound that gives lemon peel its main flavour.
Gardeners and plant fans get a gift that starts as a grass. Birthday, Christmas and housewarming presents all suit a 50 ml bottle with plenty of oil to explore. Reach for the lemongrass essential oil and give your oil collector a full bottle.
